The Keystone

Guidelines for Content Providers

The Keystone will be published in six issues each year in the months of January, March, May, July, September and November. In order to facilitate the creation and editing of each issue, articles and other inputs such as dates of events and photographs must be received by the Editor of the Keystone by the 15th of the month preceding publication.

Text articles submitted should be in the form of a Word document and created in the 12-point Times New Roman font. Photographs must be accompanied by a text field indicating the name, date and type of the event and the names of everyone in the photograph.

Event listings must include the name, date and location of the event, e.g., "Alzheimer's Walk, Saturday, May 14th, 12 noon, Reston Town Center" and the point of contact information if reservations are required.

Articles submitted for publication should indicate the source of the material (e.g., book, magazine, website or Original Research, Author, and date of creation or publication. Original research (with appropriate attributions for quoted material) is encouraged.
