"Being Prepared"

"Being Prepared" is our theme for the 2010 Capitular Year. As Royal Arch Masons, it is our responsibility and obligation to do everything within our power to see that the chapters in our jurisdiction are viable chapters; ones that have officers to fill the stations, that can open and close chapters, do the degree work, and have secretaries and treasurers who will fulfill the duties of their offices so as not to embarrass the chapter or Grand Chapter. My companions, if we do not put responsible men in the various stations in our chapters that will fulfill their obligations, our chapters will continue to be unable to open and will eventually close.

Dates for Future Grand Convocations

November 19-20, 2010
November 18-19, 2011

Most Excellent Paul Newhall is currently in Reston Hospital. Paul underwent Surgery last week and had a setback which caused him to be re-admitted this past Friday. He is currently undergoing dialysis, but is able to accept phone calls. He requests the brethren and friends to withhold visitations until after Wednesday please, but calls and cards are welcome. He is in very good spirits. Please keep Paul and his family in your prayers for strength, healing and comfort.
